This post is well over due, but last year was filled with buying and trying a lot of different eyeshadow brands/formulas. So, what landed on my favorites list for 2019? Keep reading to find out! If you’re interested in in-depth reviews of these palettes, check out my Reviews section to see what’s on the list of posts.

I thought it would be hard to compile this post, but after going through my stash of eyeshadow palettes, it didn’t take me long. These eyeshadow palettes are in no particular order; I love them all and feel like they are essential to the looks I have been wearing lately.
Juvia’s Place The Tribe Palette

It is always tough to narrow it down when it comes to Juvia’s Place eyeshadows. Not only are they super pigmented and show up beautifully on all skintones, they are extremely affordable. This brand featured so many sales during 2019 that I not once spent full price on any of my purchases from there! This palette I have worn out since I purchased it; who knew I’d be so in love with green/green-gold shadows!
Anastasia Beverly Hills x Jackie Aina Palette

This was my second only ABH eyeshadow purchase (and my first of their original formula). This palette took me by surprise! Not only did I instantly fall in love with the brand’s quality and sturdy packaging, but their unique color arrangement. I’m a new follower of Jackie Aina’s beauty channel and she has a great personality that I don’t mind supporting. When I need a go-to look that will fall together without much effort at 6am, this is the palette I often reach for.

Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions

Another palette that surprised me! I got the chance to try HUDA Beauty brand around Black Friday when discounts where popping. I picked up the Topaz Obsessions from Sephora and it didn’t not disappoint. The cute, compact packaging makes it great for travel and the shadow quality is gorgeous. The formula is a bit dry, but does build up beautifully. The metallics are best applied with fingers, but it is worth the extra effort, in my opinion.

Me and my 31st birthday look!
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mini Breaker

JSC eyeshadow formula is a show stopper! Not only do they have pretty unique branding concepts, but the product is actually worth the asking price. I was happy when the brand decided to branch out into mini palettes with this Mini Breaker palette. I’ve also owned the Jawbreaker and ultimately ended up selling it; this mini is my fave. I’ve gotten the most beautiful sunset eyeshadow looks from this baby.

ABH x Norvina Pro Pigment Palettes
Last, but certainly not least is my beloved Norvina Pro Pigment Palettes. It was so incredibly hard to choose only one of the three, but honestly I use them all at the same time to do looks! The Norvina Volume 1 was my first Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup purchase..and I haven’t looked back since! π

That wraps up my Top 5 eyeshadow palettes for 2019. Did any of your favorites make the list? Or possibly you saw something you’d like to try this year in 2020? π
