As a follow up from My First Mani Pedi post, I wanted to gush over getting my dream nails! This past Saturday I headed to my nail appointment with Lihn at Loyal Nail Spa. I learned of this place from complimenting a stranger on her beautiful nails. Who knew awesome places like this existed in my area. I read reviews of the establishment online and all of them highly recommended the services of Lihn; who happened to be the owner as well.

Long square shaped acrylic nail extensions. Incapsulated glitter design with rhinestone accents.
This elaborately bedazzled manicure took three hours and $130 USD but to me the experience was worth it. I will say the majority of that time was spent soaking off and safely removing the last set of nails I had. Overall, I love them and can’t wait for a new set! These are meant to last at least 3 weeks before its time for a refill after nail growth. I’ll probably head back for a refresh right before Thanksgiving holiday. Im sure I can make this manicure last for two months, though.
I love the sparkly rhinestones but didn’t have high hopes at first for them staying on. Another customer in the chair next to me said “Oh they aren’t going anywhere!” She proceeded to tell me how she and her friends get their nails done with rhinestones often and they’ve managed to last weeks without losing any. I’m pretty clumsy and have already bumped, knocked and scratched my nails on things and they are still flawless!

Happy Belated Halloween! Today is the first day of November, but I couldn’t resist sharing this #Throwback of my first attempt at costume makeup. I did this look for a work costume luncheon in 2019. It was such a hit. Thanks Facebook for bringing back this fun reminder 🙂
