Yes, you read that correctly! I have a makeup haul worth $445 USD of Laura Mercier products. The best part is, I didn’t spend a dime on it. 🙂 I am so happy and grateful to the generosity of Makeup By Yolanda and the Laura Mercier brand for sending me this giveaway prize. Earlier this month, I entered into an Instagram giveaway, hosted in celebration of Yolanda reaching 30,000+ subscribers. I never thought I’d win, of course. I just wanted to give my congrats to Yolanda. I came across her work on Twitter and have been following her ever sense. I love her down to earth personality, and naturally, her amazing makeup looks. Dare I say, I had a change of heart about TikTok thanks to this girl. (I honestly hate TikTok, but love her cute makeup posts!).
Yolanda chose four winners to receive goodies from Laura Mercier and I was blessed to be chosen as one of them! I received my package in he mail about 7-9 days after confirming my address with Yolanda. So, what did I get? Let’s take a peek!

Makeup Looks
I won’t be individually reviewing these products, but instead showing you looks I’ve done with them! I really like how foundation primer feels on the skin, but I’m not sure if it really did anything for the longevity of my makeup. The translucent glow powders are lovely, although I will have to figure out a way to use them for my routine, without all over the face application. It’s honestly more of a bronzer/highlighter than a setting powder. The matte lipsticks are so creamy and feel great; no drying properties at all; same for the Rouge Essentiel Lipsticks. They have a bit of slip to them; which is a nice change from the drying liquid lipsticks I’ve been using. I was surprised at how affordable the Laura Mercier eyeshadow palettes are for a high end brand. The shadows performed well and are very silky to the touch. I think the metallics work best applied with fingers.

Overall, I’m excited to have these items in my collection and the opportunity to try such a luxe brand of makeup! I’ll be updating this post with a few more looks using these products. Thank you again, Yolanda!
