Hi beauties! I am back today talking Glamlite Cosmetics! In this post I want to share my thoughts with you about their Burger palette. I purchased this palette during a recent sale, however it retails for $40 USD. You can use the code GLAM15 at checkout to save 15% OFF your order, though 🙂

The Packaging
The most eye catching part about Glamlite Cosmetics is their niche packaging! For the Burger palette, it is housed in a cardboard box and checkered paper, just like you’d see with most fast food hamburger joints. The palette itself is round with a squishy top to mimic that of a hamburger bun! There is also a large mirror inside for easily applying your makeup.

The Palette
The Burger palette features 16 eyeshadows in varying finishes of matte, metallic, and shimmer eyeshadow. Each shade has a cute name related to hamburger sides and toppings:
- Pickles – metallic green
- Mustard – yellow matte
- Bacon – metallic copper
- Sweet Potato Fries – matte light burn orange
- Tomatoes – matte red orange shade
- 1000EYEland – sparkly metallic rose gold
- Caramelized Onions – matte cocoa brown
- Cheddar – metallic yellow gold
- Blue Cheese – sparkly metallic duo chrome blue/green
- Avocado – matte lime green
- Red Onions – matte Burgundy red
- Onion Rings – matte caramel light brown
- Lettuce – metallic lime green
- Spinach – matte kelly green
- Ketchup – matte dark red orange
- BBQ Sauce – matte dark brown
Swatches
I am quite impressed with the quality of Glamlite’s eyeshadows. A lot of the time cute packaging doesn’t always equate quality cosmetics, but in this case..it does! If I had to compare their matte shadows to anything, I’d say the remind me of Juvia’s Place shadows. Certain ones of their shimmer formulas remind me of ColourPop Supershock eyeshadows. They have an almost wet mousse like consistency and apply well with your fingers.
Some of the swatches may not look of good quality (like the lime green matte Avacado), but perform beautifully on the eyes!

Final Thoughts
Rating: 5/5
I am actually really surprised at how much I have enjoyed using this eyeshadow palette! As I mentioned before, it’s not always that niche packaging like this actually houses quality cosmetics. If you’re anything like me, you may have written this brand off without a second look! If you enjoy bright, bold and pigmented eyeshadows, I highly recommend giving Glamlite a second glance. These eyeshadow palettes are not only cute display pieces, but functioning for some great makeup looks. For those who are shy with color, I can still recommend The Burger palette. The majority of this palette includes wearable browns, bronze, coppers and gold toned eyeshadows that work great for basic every day looks, too. I enjoy how versatile this palette can be..and it’s just plain fun!
My only con about this palette may be the size. Its not a typical shape so it will take up room wherever you store your cosmetics. There is also an odd oil stain around some of the eyeshadows (namely 1000Eyeland and Blue Cheese). At first glance, this may look like a part of the packaging (after all, burgers are greasy!) but I have read online it is due to the ingredients of the eyeshadows seeping out on to the cardboard paper. Given the special texture of these shadows, I am not surprised by this but I did want to give fair warning.
Such a cute palette ! And I love the looks ! They look really nice on the eyes ?
